Comal Tackle Peg Float with dual purpose peg for fixed depth or slip fishing. Use with bobber stop knots to set a desired depth to present your baits or use as a peg float to lock the float in place on your line or leader. The slot in the float allows you to easily add or remove the float without the need to re-tie or tie a knot. Very convenient while on the water and any time you need to quickly change up your presentation.
BDT PRO TIP: When using a slotted float, the pegs can spread the float open. To make for a more slip resistant float try the following... Before you put the pegs in place, pinch the float together closing the gap. Then take some electrical tape, make a couple tight passes around the thickest part of the float, and then push your pegs in each end. The tape will act like a spring clamp and the result is the slotted float will stay in place better than a non slotted float. Give it a try!
